<div><strong>Nosso querido amigo Josimar de Oliveira foi internado no hospital Holy Cross, em Fort Lauderdale, na quarta-feira, dia 13, para uma cirurgia crânio-cervical.</strong> Nos primeiros dias, sua recuperação parecia positiva, mas, infelizmente, seu quadro piorou. Na segunda-feira, dia 18, Josimar sofreu uma parada respiratória, seguida de uma parada cardíaca. Na terça-feira, dia 19, os médicos declararam morte cerebral.

<div>Neste momento, Josimar ainda se encontra com suporte de aparelhos, mas sua condição é crítica. A família está diante de uma decisão muito difícil. Cremos que a vontade de Deus vai prevalecer.

<div>Josimar não vê sua mãe, que está no Brasil, há mais de 20 anos. O maior desejo dela é poder levar o corpo do filho de volta para que ele tenha um enterro digno em sua terra natal.

<div><strong>Our dear friend Josimar de Oliveira was admitted to Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday, the 13th, for a cranio-cervical surgery.</strong> In the first few days, his recovery seemed positive, but unfortunately, his condition worsened. On Monday, the 18th, Josimar suffered a respiratory arrest, followed by a cardiac arrest. On Tuesday, the 19th, the doctors declared him brain dead.

<div>At this moment, Josimar is still on life support, but his condition is critical. The family is facing a very difficult decision. We believe that God’s will shall prevail.

<div>Josimar has not seen his mother, who lives in Brazil, for more than 20 years. Her greatest wish is to bring her son’s body back to Brazil so that he may have a dignified burial in his homeland.
