<div>Hi everyone, it’s Josh and Daisy here.

<div>We are writing this with heavy hearts, but with a lot of <strong>hope</strong> and <strong>determination</strong>. As many of you know, I (Josh) was diagnosed with brain cancer Astrocytoma in 2022. We fought it with surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy, and for a while, life felt normal again. 
</div>

<div>But recently, our world was turned upside down. The cancer has returned at the back of my brain, and this time it is more aggressive, inoperable, and terminal. I am currently losing my sight as the tumour grows, and time is not on our side.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Urgent Situation</strong>
</div>
<div>We have been under the incredible care of the Neuro-oncology team at The Royal
</div>
<div>Marsden Hospital for a few years now. We cannot thank them enough for their dedication, kindness and friendship. They have offered us a lifeline, a treatment called <strong>Bevacizumab</strong>. 
</div>

</div>
<div>It is not a cure, but it is our best chance to slow the tumour down, save my remaining vision, and give me more precious time with Daisy and our three children: Reuben (11), Isla-Dove (8), and Anna Rose (5).
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>We are due to start this treatment on 8th December.</strong>
</div>
<div>We need your help to make that happen.
</div>

<div><strong>Why We Need Your Help</strong>
</div>
<div>Because this drug is not funded by the NHS for brain tumours, we have to access it via "Additional Private Care". This means we must pay for every single round of treatment ourselves, in advance.
</div>

<div>The costs are overwhelming:

<div>• <strong>Immediate Cost:</strong> To start the first cycle on Dec 8th, the hospital requires an
</div>
<div>advance payment of <strong>£9,947</strong>.
</div>
<div>• <strong>Ongoing Cost</strong>: After the first round, every single cycle (every 8 weeks) costs
</div>
<div>approximately <strong>£9,042.</strong>

<div>We have set our goal to fund the first 5 cycles of treatment. This will secure my care for the months ahead so we don't have to panic before every appointment.

<div><strong>Family Life &amp; Making Memories</strong>
</div>
<div>This fund isn't just about medicine; it’s about our family surviving this storm.
</div>

<div>We want to use this time to make memories. We want to give Reuben, Isla-Dove, and Anna-Rose breaks from the stress and worries, and fill them with happy memories of their dad while I am still able.
