Help Josh fight Lyme

Back in 2009, Josh started showing severe symptoms of chronic pain. After two years of searching for answers, along with countless tests and misdiagnoses, he was finally diagnosed in 2011 with Lyme Disease, along with three co-infections. After two years of round the clock antibiotics, his Lyme quietly went dormant towards the end of 2013. All seemed well the past few years, besides the random "phantom pain" he would experience every so often. It wasn't until this year when his health seemed to go into a turbulent decline. For the past few months, Josh's entire body has been in excruciating pain, to the point that it has sometimes incapacitated him entirely. The co-infections of Lyme that he has not only effect his physical body, but also come with many cognitive struggles. Unfortunately, Lyme Disease is incurable and never leaves the body. There are only options of how to treat it so that it can go back into its peaceful dormant stage. The effects from such a high volume of antibiotics had wreaked havoc on his body, which had put him in a position where he needed to seek alternative forms of treatment to fight this disease. After many weeks of searching for a solution, we as a family have recently found a specialist who has already begun to treat Josh with natural alternative methods. While we are so happy to start this new journey towards his healing, we are greatly burdened by the financial strain that these new treatments will cause. Because his appointments are out of network, insurance will not cover any of his appointments or treatments. We are very hopeful in the plan that has been provided to Josh, and are believing that somehow we will be able to cover his appointments so that he can put this horrific disease back into dormancy once and for all.
