Help Josh and his best friend Rocky stay together

Hi my name is Chloe and i am fundraising for one of my best friends Josh Waters.

 

Josh is an Australian that has lived in Canada for 9 years in total now. Over the last four years Josh has undertaken the difficult process of trying to gain a Canadian residency. Anyone that has been involved in this process knows how challenging and stressful it can be. Yesterday Josh found out that his application for residency has been denied and that he has 60 days to leave Canada without facing deportation

 

 

 

Although Josh was technically born an Australian he has always known that Canada was the place he wanted to call home. In the 9 years he has lived in this country he has created a life for himself no different than a Canadian Citizens. He has made friends that have become family and has a career with a company that adores him. Canada is a better place with Josh in it.

 

 

 

 

In his time in Canada Josh has experienced many loves but none quite like his love for Rocky. Rocky is a beautiful adopted English Staffy cross that quickly became the best friend he could have ever asked for. Josh adopted Rocky with the hopes of his residency being approved. With 60 days until he must leave the country Josh is faced with trying to organise transportation to Australia for Rocky. Due to Covid, the only option is a safe pet transport company.

 

The news of his numbered days in Canada has come with many stresses but none quite like the stress of getting Rocky across the world safely so the two of them can stay together. Josh deserves to call Canada home and until that happens he deserves to have Rocky with him through these uncertain times.
