Help Jordan get his smile back

Writing this really saddens me & is definitely not the way anyone should have to start a New Year.

My brother & his girlfriend have recently had a baby who has just turned 1 & a 7 yr old. I offered to babysit the kids on New Year’s Eve so that they could take some time out & enjoy a much needed & well deserved break.
What better time to enjoy celebrating with friends than on New Years Eve. They live in the middle of nowhere in a sleepy village in the Fenlands, so the night out was just a few drinks in the local village pub & a precious and rare night off from all their responsibilities.

What started as a really happy & much needed night out with their friends turned into an absolute nightmare that no one should have to suffer.

On their walk home at around 12.30 with their friends, whom they were staying the night with, they were brutally assaulted in an unprovoked attack which left my brothers girlfriend unconscious & my brother with a broken jaw & his teeth hanging out. Thankfully their friend managed to call the emergency services & the next 24 hours was spent in utter turmoil.

They have no idea who the attacker was or why they were targeted but it has left them physically & emotionally scarred. Imagine a night out with friends ending in this way, it is just unbelievable that this could happen. It saddens me so much that there are people in this world that can do this type of thing.

I have put this page together as my brother needs extensive dental work to put his teeth back together, the NHS cutbacks mean that even though this was caused through an unprovoked assault, they can only fix him up with dentures. For a man in his early 30’s this is just soul destroying.

To have his teeth fixed properly & regain a smile he needs proper teeth implants but the cost to have these done is £3000 and they just don’t have the money to do it.

His job is working in field sales which relies on him being able to talk & engage confidently with people, at the moment he is so low & in so much pain & has so much damage, that he cannot even leave the house.

It breaks my heart that this has happened to them, such violence on innocent people is sickening.

Fixing my brothers teeth will never take away the trauma of the events that night but it might help him to piece his life back together & continue to support his family. He is a dedicated father of 2 young children & he works hard to provide for his family but this vicious attack has abruptly stopped him in his tracks.

Any amount to help, will be so gratefully received.

I know it is unlikely but if anyone knows anything about the attack, please can they contact the police on 01480 456111 & quote this incident number 35/37/20

Thank you so so much in advance for any support you can give. They don’t want to ask for handouts but I can’t just sit back & see my brothers life ruined from such mindless violence
