Help Jordan Beat Neuropathy
Donation protected
My name is Jordan Larsen. When I was seven years old, I began telling my parents of a horrible pain I was having in my legs. My parents took me to doctors who quickly dismissed my complaints. At age 14 the pain became worse and was no longer restricted to just my legs but was now in my arms. The doctor’s visits started again as the pain increased. All I wanted was a diagnosis. I needed direction so I could know what to do to stop the hurting. The day after my 18th birthday, I had a punch biopsy done on my legs and finally I had my diagnosis. I had Small Fiber Neuropathy. I hoped that knowing what was causing my pain would be the first step in ending it. Instead, I was told there was no cure, no getting better, no hope. I’ve lost jobs because I’ve had to call off because of the pain, it’s affected my relationships, and, sometimes, my ability to walk. I’m 21 now and since my diagnosis they have given me nothing but harmful painkillers and prescribed anti-depressants which I don’t want to take. I don’t want to give up hope. I don’t want to believe that my future holds nothing but pain. I’m happy to say that recently I found a doctor who believes he can help. He’s told me that through a holistic approach and a lot of hard work, I can reverse the damage to my nerves! My family and I are asking for your help with the cost of the treatment. Would you please consider making a donation of any amount? I think we all like to know we’ve made a difference in someone’s life, I promise you that your help would make a drastically positive difference in mine.
