Our family has always been a very prideful family and it's not easy putting this out there for all to see but sometimes we have to push our pride aside. My son and his wife has spent the last month and a half in Birmingham at UAB Hospital waiting for and finally receiving the liver he needed to survive. My daughter in law has used all of her PTO and my son has been so sick, he hasn't been able to work the last few months. We are now on the upside of things and he is slowly but surely recovering amazingly all by the Grace of God!! With this being said, nothing ever stops the bills rolling in, the traveling he will have to do weekly back and forth to Birmingham and by no means does insurance pay for the now 12-15 new meds he has to take several times a day to keep his new liver working as it should and to keep his body from rejecting this new foreign object ( liver). My husband and myself along with Jordan's father and some of Leah's immediate family members have been helping and providing as much as we possibly can. I would like to ask that anyone who could help, to please consider helping them while he recovers, and with her being his caregiver. These two are two of the most loving souls and would give the shirts off their backs to help anyone in need. Please, if you can help them out a little bit it would be so gratefully appreciated and if you can't, PRAYERS ARE FREE AND ALWAYS WELCOMED!! We have already been so blessed by receiving the perfect liver Jordan's body so desperately needed! Thank you in advance and please know God loves you all! Have a blessed day!
