Jon is a husband and father of 4 girls and 1 son, ranging from 7 years old to 5 months old. A few months ago, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. UPDATE: Jon had the Whipple surgery done. The cancer spread. Half of his stomach, half his Pancreas, half his liver, his appendix and gallbladder were removed to cut out his cancer. The average hospital stay for the surgery is 14 days. The average at-home recovery is 2 to 6 months. I am trying to raise money to help Jon and his family with the bills during his recovery. Please help me to make sure that Jon's family is taken care of while he is not able to work recovering from cancer surgery. Due to Jon working to support his family he loses his Medicaid on November 1st, so he will no longer have insurance coverage.
