Jon is a husband and father of 4 girls and 1 son, ranging from 7 years old to 5 months old. A few months ago, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. On 10-1-25 Jon had the Whipple surgery done. The cancer spread. Half of his stomach, half his Pancreas, part of his his liver, his appendix and gallbladder were removed to cut out his cancer. UPDATE: On November 25th (Jon's birthday) his cancer doctor called at 7am to tell him that his cancer came back. He has 7 cancer spots throughout his liver. Jon has been diagnosed with Metastatic Disease in his liver. Metastatic disease is cancer that has spread from its original site. Metastatic cancer is the most common cause of cancer death, the 5 year survival rate is 2 to 4%. We are raising money to make sure that Jon's kids are taken care of during his radiation treatment and beyond.
