Help Joni & Nikkita

On Tuesday August 14th, Joni took Nikita out for their evening walk. Two pit bulls escaped from their yard, attacking and mauling both Joni and Nikita. Thankfully, neighbors heard the yelping and screams, and were able to save both of them from further dismemberment or death. 
Joni and Nikita both required surgery, and they were both in the hospital/animal hospital for 7 Days. The bills are surmounting. After sustaining multiple injuries, she had surgery on her dominant hand. She is unable to use it for the time being, and foreseeable future. The injuries are impeding her ability to work and Joni is asking for our help & support.

For those wondering: the pit bulls that attacked them are still with their owner, less than block from where Nikita and Joni are staying. Animal Control is investigating as there have been rumors of neglect from the owner of the dogs, and a judge will determine what to do with the dogs in a few months. As of now though, the dogs are still in her neighborhood. Please donate so she can find a safe and serene place for her and Nikita to heal and move forward from the mauling.
