Help Jones Stay Alive
Jones, named for the cat in Alien, is my baby boy. He’s only a year old and he’s been diagnosed with dry FIP. There is a chance to save him with an experimental treatment but we may need blood transfusions, biopsies, and more in the process. This is something that none of us can afford. The quote We got for the care he needs was in the area of $7000 or higher. Due to extended treatment this number has raised even further. This is overwhelming. We cannot do it alone. ANYTHING anyone could pitch in would be amazing. Life changing. He’s a precious boy who’s barely lived yet and it’s killing all of us to know he may pass if we can’t get him these treatments.
If possible, the funds will also help with housing costs while I (his primary caretaker) am taking care of him. I am still going to 1 job full time but the others are few and far between, and this one ends in September when I likely will be starting college. Caring for Jones will be a full time job in and of itself, not including the hours I already spend at work and will be spending on my schooling. Because of this, any funds above the goal will be used to pay for our home while I care for him.
