My name is Jonathan, and for 27 long years I have battled Crohn’s Disease. This illness has stolen my health, my strength, and far too many moments with my family. Now, my doctors have told me the fight has reached its breaking point I must undergo major surgery to remove my colon. 
 
This surgery, scheduled on my birthday, will change everything. While most would be surrounded by cake and laughter, I’ll be in a hospital bed, preparing for a future with an ostomy. It is not the life I imagined, but it is the one I must face in order to survive. 
 
I have already spent weeks in the hospital, away from the people who matter most my four children, who miss their father deeply. My wife has been carrying the heavy weight of caring for them, managing our home, and holding everything together while bills and medical costs pile up. We are down a vehicle, our income has dropped, and every day feels like another uphill battle. 
 
Asking for help does not come easy, but today, we need you. This fundraiser is not only about covering medical costs it’s about keeping our family stable in the hardest chapter of our lives. It’s about making sure my children still feel secure, my wife doesn’t carry this burden alone, and I can focus on healing without the fear of financial collapse.
