Help Jonah support disabled bakers

Both Lee Heng from My Blue Tea  and Veronica of Brilliant Online fell in love with seven-year-old Chef Jonah. We are helping Jonah with his medical expenses, and building an infrastructure for Jonah to support other physically challenged bakers.

 

Jonah is a feisty seven-year-old baker with a rare form of skeletal dysplasia. On top of that, Jonah has Hajdu-Cheney syndrome (HCS), which is another rare genetic connective tissue disease. Around the world, there are only 50 known cases of people who have this disease.

 

Jonah's dream is to have his bakery one day.

The funds raised will support Jonah and his family in three areas:

 

1. For Jonah's medical expenses in Melbourne, Australia, where doctors can check his condition and progress with medical treatments.

2. Jonah has a head start in his culinary career with Jonah Bakes despite his shortcomings. Brilliant-Online and My Blue Tea support Jonah in his journey to expand his family kitchen and online platform to a professional culinary space and grow to allow other physically challenged bakers to join in.

3. Jonah bakes Happy Cookies, which he believes will make the world a better place. Jonah sells his cheddar cheese bons and cocktail bons in Malaysia. The money raised can help him sell online worldwide.
