<div>In June of 2022 our son was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy at age 7. We were told with the thickness of his heart that getting an ICD(Defibrillator) was eventual, and with further testing and time we thought we would be able to wait until he was much older.

<div>We were just notified that his condition as progressed and he is scheduled for surgery on December 9th. We were not prepared for this so soon.

<div>Jon is an amazing guy and has been such a trooper throughout his diagnosis and with all the doctor’s visits…which are not cheap. He deserves the world!

<div>past medical bills-even with us paying $240 a month for Jon’s insurance, they barely cover expenses, we have a $2500 bill for his last appointments, echos, and MRI. Not including costs for his upcoming surgery.

<div>Anything beyond the medical bills will go to making his recovery comfortable, providing things to occupy him while he heals, food, any other needed expenses, and then to his Christmas.
