Help Johnny fund his college dream

My name is Johnny Gomez, and I'm originally from Nicaragua. I came to the USA alone five and half years ago; my aunt and grandma were living here at that time. They allowed me to live with them, but I had to participate in working and paying the bills for the household. I've been working hard since then to provide for myself a college education. 

I am in the middle of my third-year at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, and am now encountering some major financial obstacles. I have been living on my own for 3 years. Despite the long hours I've been working to pay for school, my funds are running short because of the cost of living on top of tuition. My parents back in Nicaragua are unable to help me financially, so the burden of food, gas, and clothes fall on me. During the school year I work about 25-35 hours per week, during the summertime I work 70+ hours per week.

My education is very important for my future. To this date, I have applied for 3 scholarships and am always looking for more opportunities.  This GoFundMe campaign is another chance for me to accept any assistance I can get to accomplish my education goals.

Right now, I need to pay a remaining balance for the Fall 2017 semester. I am simply asking for help up to $2000, as I do not want it all to be covered for me. If I'm not able to cover this by January 11th, then my next semester will be terminated. Any and all donations are GREATLY appreciated.
