My name is Dorothy. My sister Darlene’s son Johnny is fighting for his life. He has been in and out of the hospital since May and has been in ICU in Colorado Springs for the past three weeks. He has been flown to Colorado Springs once and shipped out to Colorado Springs twice.Johnny is a 29 year old young man. Johnny is in End stage liver failure with ascites. He means the world to his parents, older sister and younger brother as well as his nephew, nieces & close friends. This has taken a huge toll not only emotionally, and mentally but financially on his family. He’s an amazing son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. We are grateful that the hospital has a place we can stay which helps immensely however we have bills at home that still need to be paid as well as daily living. All the trips back and forth to Dr appointments in the city and getting up to visit. He has also lost a lot of weight and will be needing clothing and medical supplies once he can come home.
