John "The Gneech" Robey has been a significant contributor to multiple fandoms across the internet, a prolific webcomic artist, and a significant source of support for myself and all the people he considers friends, but now he and his partner need our help!
Since both he and his partner Laurie have lost their jobs several years ago, John has been working as a freelance artist, writer and life coach. But they have come across difficult times and they are struggling to find jobs that can pay their bills. John has a new job at a bookstore that will help keep them afloat, but he doesn't get paid for a week. Laurie also has a firm lead on a job, but they are taking their time to finalize hiring her. John and Laurie need $2,000 by the end of the week to be able to pay their rent and to pay off basic necessities, or they'll need to move!
