Dear Friends,
Joey Waterson has touched everyone he meets with his huge heart, humility, wisdom and humour. Since 1999 Joey has welcomed people to him and to Embercombe, asking 'How can I help?' Now it is our turn to help our beloved Joey. On the 8th of June Joey will be 70 years young and is getting ready to put on his blue suede shoes!
In celebration of this and in support of Joey's renewed, strong and heartfelt commitment to his health, well-being and longevity, we have booked Joey onto a week's detox retreat with Vitaldetox in Somerset, which includes juice fasting, guidance on addictions and nutrition, 1-1s, walks in the countryside, colonics, and so much more. The last day of the retreat is on Joey's birthday and concludes with a raw food feast.
Jenny will join him for the week, so together they can take these changes forward into their lives.

In the event of raising more money than required, Joey has asked that it be directed to the Catalyst bursary fund.
Vitaldetox retreat is an extremely well held and multi-faceted detox retreat (www.vitaldetox.com) which has been running for many years in Somerset and is led by a very experienced team of practitioners. Vital Detox is the only detox retreat we know of in the UK that works on all the levels - mental, emotional, spiritual and physical, so it is a good match for Joey. As it happens one of the retreat leader’s sisters came on the Journey recently and now are planning to come themselves. And one of the retreat leader's sons has just completed the Catalyst course.
Joey was very touched and moved when we offered him this gift knowing that it is in support of his health and longevity. Joey and Jenny are preparing themselves for the detox now and are intending to make the most of it.
