Help Joey Kick Cancer

Dear Friends and family and extended community,

 

For those of you who might not know, our dearest Joey Rhude has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Throat Cancer (Metastatic Squamous Cell Carcinoma). He has been battling finding the right treatment with the best possible outcome for over 6 months and it's been extremely challenging. 

The standard of care in America is chemotherapy and it's not a guaranteed cure and tends to leave side effects that are potentially life-threatening themselves. Thus Joey has been on a mission to find another form of treatment.

Of course, Joey has remained positive and calm throughout the entire process, although finding other methods of healing has proven to be extremely challenging. After an extremely arduous and interesting journey, Joey found his way to a state-of-the-art facility in Mexico, which is doing some very progressive therapy and immunotherapy! As luck would have it, Joey has been accepted as a patient!

 

This center is incredibly expensive and Joey will also need to continue to pay his rent and bills while he is in the program and recovering. This GoFundMe will help Joey support paying for the facility while he is not working and also continue to keep up with his normal bills and life.
