I’m creating a GoFundMe for my brother Jose Balboa or they call him Joey.Joey and Jima lives in Washington DC and been married for 18 yrs. They have a 13 yr old son.Joey is a Batch saint 1978 HS graduate of Holy Angel College.He work in the kitchen at NCO club Clark Ab as working student in college.He was diagnosed with Rectal cancer in July 2021 and received different chemotherapy.In 2022,his cancer spread to stage 4 liver Ca and had surgery done to his liver that gave him complication after complication.2023-2024,he continue getting more chemo and radiation.After trying all the different treatment it did not cure his cancer but spread more on his bones, lungs and now kidney that cause him severe Pain and swelling.Oct.2024 he was admitted for small bowel obstruction and bacteremia but no surgery made and was discharge home.Nov.4,2024 he was admitted back for severe small bowel obstruction and decided to do surgery by placing colostomy. During the procedure the surgeon found cancer everywhere and informing me and his wife prognosis is very poor and life expectancy of 3 months.Joey is a fighter and always believed God is in control.A week ago they placed a Pleur x catheter where they can drain his fluid from his abdomen.I create goFundme to help pay their on going medical bills. He is still admitted in the hospital
