Help Joe Leonardo Keep His Home

My brother, Joe Leonardo, 55 years of age, is looking at a long recovery after more medical procedures. The doctors are planning to amputate his right leg today, and that's not all. He has another blockage in his neck they want to remove and he can't see out of one eye.
This is all on top of the accident he had in 2015 where he was hit while riding his motorcycle. He still has not been able to have the surgery he needs to aleviate the back pain he suffers with because that law suit is in limbo. The man who hit him is now in the military in Japan and the lawyers can't dipose him until he gets back in the States.
Many of you know he had quadruple bypass open heart surgery in 2016 and two bypass surgeries in his leg in 2016 and 2017. The most recent became infected and is the reason they need to take off his leg.
Right now he is facing the loss of his home. Since he has not been able to work, he is far behind in his mortgage payments. Joe is waiting on having his Social Security Disability claim approved. If that comes through, he should be able to stay in his home because he should be getting enough to cover his mortgage payment but there is no telling how much longer that will take.
Meanwhile there is a $20,000 lien on his home from University Medical Center from the pancreatitis atttack he had in 2012. We're trying to get Medicaid to cover this, but since it was from several years before Medicaid was approved, they may not pay for it.
The most urgent need is to bring his mortgage up to date so he can stay in his home at least until he recovers from the loss of his leg. Between the delinquent payments and late fees, that comes to about $8000. He'll need another $4200 to cover his mortgage through the end of the year and another $500 for a smaller lien on the house for his water bill.
Add on electric, phone and car insurance, and I am looking for $30,000 to bring him current and keep him in his home through the end of the year. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
