<div>UPDATE: I decided to have her stop all treatments and she will be on strong pain killers. She can no longer feed herself anymore. She's in so much pain that she can't form sentences. I went to visit her yesterday with my daughter. And she barely knew who we were till we were about to leave. I gave her a kiss on the forehead and said "I love you mom" and she was crying and said "I love you too" 3x. I feel like she knows she's about to pass away very soon. I was told by the nurse that she was looking up at the ceiling saying "James I need your help." "HELP ME JAMES PLEASE" James is my father/her husband who had passed in September of 2009. But there will be a DNR in place bc I don't want her to suffer. This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do in my life.

<div>Background: She's been having medical issues for 18 years now. I was her full-time caretaker. She had to have major surgery back in 2008 to have her whole uterus removed due to cancer. Then they added a colostomy and urostomy bag (for a blocked kidney). She also had a hernia that was supposed to be removed, but it never was, so over time it became enlarged to the point it would be risky to do the surgery. She was prone to frequent UTIs because of the urostomy bag. But with her condition, when she gets them, she becomes incoherent and has no idea what she's talking about. So since that day, she's been back and forth to the hospital and an assisted living center.

<div>- So to present day, they found out she has vulva cancer with a 5-inch mass. So they did 33 targeted treatments and I believe it was 3 chemo treatments, but because she wasn't moving around and stayed in bed as well as refusing physical therapy, it made her weak. She also fell out of the bed a few days ago. So the doctor was saying I have 2 options that I have to make a decision by Saturday (6.14.25).

<div>Option 1: Pull the plug, so to speak; she's not on a ventilator.

<div>Option 2: Keep her in pain and struggling and, to put it bluntly, pump her with strong painkillers.

<div>She doesn't have any life insurance or savings. <strong>I'm looking to have her cremated or have funeral services bc I found out that she has a dual plot and plague fully paid for when the time came that they both passed, but it's still so much money that I don't have at all.
