My name is Chelsey, I'm a friend and fellow Physical Therapist who works with Joanna.

On June 20th, 2025, Joanna’s husband tragically passed away in a bike accident. In the wake of this unimaginable loss, Joanna will be taking an extended leave from work to be with her family and begin the long, difficult journey of healing.

Joanna has been a dedicated physical therapist who has provided compassionate, thoughtful care to the Truckee community for many years. She is the loving mother of three amazing boys—Nash, Reed, and Trent—and shares her home with their sweet and loyal dog, Aspen.

We are raising funds to gift Joanna a yoga membership, with the hope that it offers her a source of grounding, peace, and strength during this painful time. Yoga has long been a meaningful and supportive practice for her, and we want to ensure she has access to this space as she navigates her grief.
