HELP JOANN BEAT CANCER

I want to talk about JoAnn....

On Sunday Aug, 12th I ran my mom to the ER.  Simply, we thought she had vertigo or maybe something wrong with her equilibrium because she wasn't stable to walk.  After some testing, we were very wrong.  CT scan found a tumor on the brain, followed by lung masses.  Stage 4 lung cancer was determined after a biopsy of her adrenal gland on top of her pancreas. This was immediately followed up by a tumor removal on her brain that was pressing on her cerebellum.  This was the main cause of the lack of normal function to walk. We are so thankful for the surgery to go so smoothly.  Next steps of radiation and chemo will be part of her journey.  Her positive approach and strength is just the beginning of a full recovery....this followed with amazing doctors with attention to detail, friends and family showing support and fact that I know, SHE'S GOT THIS.  

Here's where the help comes in to play.  As she proceeds with medical care, she also needs assistance in keeping her lifestyle as comfortable as possible.  We are looking into disability assistance (as she can not work or drive).  Everything that the state can assist with takes time!  Enough time, however, that I don't want her to have to consider a different space (home).  Less stress is best........
