<div>On July 3, in the wake of the afternoon storms, Joan's life was turned upside down. She was on her porch when a giant oak fell directly where she was standing. Joan was trapped underneath the trusses, the tree, a fridge, and the ground for almost 6 hours. The devastation to Joan's life is immesurable. She has lost her home, her vehicle, and has a very long road to recovery ahead of her.
