Support Jim and his family

Donation protected
Its going to be a long road ahead for Jim and his family. Let’s all do what we can to help take some of the stress off of them by raising funds to help pay for some of the medical expenses. Every little bit will help, there is no amount to small or too big. — Here’s some background: I have known Jim ever since I dated his brother way back when and he has proved to be one of the most interesting and amazing people I’ve known since. He has 5 children: Jimmy (30), Jordan (27), Jaelyn (22), Jacob (14), and Jocelyn (12). He has been with his wife for around 30 years and has built the most beautiful life with and for his family throughout that time. He is a dedicated man who has worked in the car business since he was 19 and found out he was having his first kid, coaches his son’s sports teams (especially basketball...Go Bengals!), and always makes sure to help out anyone in need in whatever way he can. Now that Jim is sick, I have seen that he is loved by so many more people than I ever imagined possible. I want to be able to give back to him and his family in their time of need. Jim admitted himself to the hospital on the 1st of February for some concerning symptoms that were later identified as being related to acute liver failure and liver disease. A few days later, Jim’s kidneys began to fail, as well. He has been in the hospital ever since and his health is deteriorating quickly. In order to make a full recovery, Jim will need a liver transplant. However, there has been a lot of trouble getting him on the transplant list, as the hospital he is at doesn’t perform transplants and he has come into some other issues with his eligibility to receive a transplant. Jim’s family is trying fervently to get him transferred to a hospital where he can receive a transplant, whether that be from a cadaver or a living donor. They are recruiting volunteers to go through the directed donation process. Information for that can be found on his Facebook support page, which I will link below. Jim doesn’t have much time left and so we are praying every day for him to make it through. If you want to support his family, you can do that here, on the prayer page, or by donating $$ to his daughter’s Venmo @jaelynrichter. You can request to join his FB page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2568766393396878/?ref=share and if you want to see if you are a match to become a liver donor for Jim, you can fill out the donor eligibility form here: https://survey.umnhealthlivingdonor.org/approach/?service=fairview.transplant.combined%3Aliver.prereq.1#__ Thank you in advance and many blessings to all of you!
