Help Support Jimmie Through Life-Saving Kidney Transplant

On September 22nd, our family will face one of the most challenging and hopeful days of our lives. My husband Jimmie will be undergoing a kidney transplant, and our brave daughter JimMarria is his living donor—a true blessing and a perfect match.

While we are incredibly grateful for this chance at renewed life, the road ahead is difficult. Both Jimmie and JimMarria will be out of work for a minimum of three months, without any income during that time. I will be their full-time caregiver—managing not only their physical recovery but also Jimmie's financial burden that comes with it.

We were recently informed that even after insurance, our monthly out-of-pocket cost for medications will be $4,000. This is on top of everyday living expenses, transportation to and from medical appointments, and post-surgery care needs.
