Help Jim get to Rehab

As many of you know my dad, Jim, recently had a stroke. This has affected his right side; including his right leg, foot, arm, and hand as well as caused a significant deficit in his speech. As many of you also know he decided to take his retirement at 62.5 meaning he no longer has insurance through his employer nor is he eligible Medicare at his age. He made the decision to try and enjoy his later years in life after serving in the United States Marine Corps then working in a factory for thirty years, while putting himself through college with two young daughters and becoming a social worker to serve those in his community while taking care of his long term significant other go suffers from multiple sclerosis. He is not a man who has asked for handouts in his life. But we are currently in a situation where we have no other choice. Jim currently has VA benefits, but is not eligible for VA insurance this means that he has no one to help him pay for a stay in a rehab facility he so desperately needs. We are asking for help to help get him the few weeks he needs in a rehab facility so that he can come home to his family in a condition we can help care for him and get him back to doing the things he enjoys doing. Any help is so very much appreciated and we are so grateful for anything you can give.
