Help Jim & Kathy Hostetler

Donation protected
On Sunday, March 18th, Jim Hostetler suffered a horrible stroke in his driveway while he was working on his car. No signs it was coming, no way he could have known it would happen... it just happened. He couldn't move, he couldn't talk, he has lost the ability to use the right side of his body. His wife Kathy found him under his car, unable to call for help or move himself into their home. He was quickly life-flighted to Holy Spirit Hospital and they determined that he had a hemorrhage in his brain!  This is a man who was very healthy, lean, active, strong, always outdoors... we are all still in shock, but NOW THEY NEED YOUR HELP!

It's been two weeks since that day and he's currently in physical therapy, trying his best every day to regain his strength and begin the long process of using the right side of his body. He and Kathy need help from family and friends! Besides the unexpected costs of gas, travel, missed work, etc. we need to prepare their home for his arrival, making it accessible for him, plus plan ahead for his long road of recovery. He will be coming home in a wheelchair and ramps need to be built, doorways need to be widened, areas of their home need to be revamped to accommodate Jim comfortably.

There is also a high chance that the helicopter life-flight bill may be quite costly. This family - this amazing family who has had such a tragic year losing their beautiful daughter Aimee only one year ago - needs us ALL to lift them up RIGHT NOW! Please find it in your heart to donate anything you can for Jim & Kathy. Let's work together to help them through this without the added worry of so much financial burden!

After you donate, PLEASE SHARE this with your family and friends. We will be so grateful for your help to spread the word of kindness and giving for this family. <3

(Organized and arranged by Sarah Prye Wagenheim: "Jim is my uncle - my lifelong favorite uncle who I shared so many childhood memories with, love being around, visiting with, laughing with, talking to - he is so deserving of your help, so please come together and help them! Losing Aimee earlier this year and now this... Jim and Kathy need to know their community is behind them. Thank you so much!")
