Help Jhosie Sikes Reclaim Her Home

Hello, my name is Jhosie Sikes. I am a 95-year-old who is fundraising to buy my home back before I pass. I am disabled, with immaculate degeneration in my left eye, kidney disease, and other medical issues that have caused me to rely solely on the social security checks I receive each month. Even with my checks, the cost of paying bills these past four years has taken a toll on my livelihood and I am currently unable to effectively pay off my house.

I have been living in my home since 1956; my father, W.C. Stanfield, purchased the home and had it paid off. My daughter (C.S.), however, threw me under the bus and left me with a reverse mortgage that I am powerless to comply with. My daughter begged me to lend her some money to pay off her credit card bills; I was hesitant at first, but in the end, I gave in and took some money put aside for the house and lent it to her with the promise that she would pay it back. (C.S.) kept her promise for the first couple of months, but when I denied a gentleman, who already had a wife at the time, into the house who she was infatuated with, she up and left me with paying off the rest of the mortgage. Because I am on a fixed income, I no longer have the means to pay off the mortgage which left me no choice but to go into a reverse mortgage. 

My daughter (C.S.) left me with this bill to pay and I cannot pay it. She left me for a married man and still has not married him because he is still married to his previous wife. I am at the mercy of the world to ask for donations. I pray to God to forgive me of what I have done. This is my last wish that I ask, any donations are welcome and a heartfelt “Thank You” to all whom are moved to donate.
