<div>Mijn naam is Jetske Postma, in de afgelopen 12 jaar heb ik extreem achteruit gegaan op mijn motorische gebied, de artsen in Nederland wisten toen nog niet wat het was. In Antwerpen na 5 jaar kreeg ik de diagnose " progressieve gegeneraliseerde dystonie"

<div>Een neurologische bewegingsstoornis. En bij mij zit het voor namelijk op mijn rechterhemicorpus.

<div>De afgelopen jaren leverde ik steeds meer in en ging functioneel achteruit. Kreeg een rolstoel en andere hulpmiddelen, in 2020 kreeg ik na opnieuw een lange zoektocht in het buitenland eigenlijk wat verlichting een baclofenpomp. Dit was zo fijn .

<div>Want na jaren continu last hebben van achteruitgang, door spasticiteit, tremoren, krampen , vergroeien en nog veel meer is mijn lichaam in zijn vorm maar ook in zijn continu afgenomen.

<div>Sinds een paar weken volg ik in Antwerpen bij TRAINM een behandeling, in een zeer gespecialiseerde centrum de eerste in Europa die mij ondersteund en begeleid hoe om te gaan met de beperkingen.

<div>Maar heb ik ook nog 9 jaar doormiddel van een looprobot weer mijn eerste stappen gezet op een normale manier, ook robotica therapie voor mijn handen en armen krijg ik daar en veel meer om straks weer functioneel en nog lekkerder in mijn fel te gaan zitten. Maar vooral zoveel mogelijk mijn lichaam te gaan ondersteunen en te verbeteren op Neurologische gebied.

<div>Deze therapie kost helaas aardig wat geld. Nu kost de therapieën die ik nodig heb per keer 580,- . Voor 3 uur revalideren. Deze therapie word geheel niet vergoed. Gezien het de eerste in Europa is die deze therapieën aan bied met succes hoop ik ook het succes te ervaren en minder in de rolstoel te zitten en of minder pijn en ongemakken te ervaren.

<div>Nu kwam er tot groot verdriet bij dat de zorgverzekeraar mijn operatie niet vergoed, dit is een enorme klap. Je gaat voor een ziekenhuis met contract en hebt de hoop op 26 december trof ik de brief dat het niet akkoord was 2x in beroep maar steeds een afkeuring, ik moet geopereerd worden aan mijn zenuwen in mijn been , daar komt een neurostimulator op om mijn pijn weg te gaan nemen.
