On Friday, February 5, 2021, an unspeakable tragedy occurred. Fourteen year old Jesus Fernandez lost his life to gun violence. He was just a kid in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Jesus was a freshman at Heights and played soccer for Sporting Wichita. His family, friends, teammates and classmates are all grieving right now. He was a great kid and a very talented, up and coming soccer player.<br /><br />At this time his family is desperately trying to make sense of all of this. We are trying to help them raise money for a funeral and other expenses they may have. Please help.
