My parents miraculously survived, but both are now in the hospital with severe third-degree burns. My mom’s hands and feet are badly burnt, and my dad is fighting for his life with burns all over his body. In the chaos, our sweet dog Aly Capone got trapped on the boat. My mom tried to save her, but sadly, Aly didn’t make it.
