I’m Jessie Macpherson, a Vancouver witch, Tarot reader and writer, fighting stage 2 breast cancer since November 2019. I have had a partial mastectomy and am undergoing four months of chemotherapy. I have not been able to work with any regularity since the first week of November 2019 . I hadn't wanted to ask for help again since I am grateful for what we have received, but things have changed.
I'm immunocompromised and can't do parties or in person readings due to COVID-19.
Due to COVID-19, my partner's industry has shut down for at least a month, possibly two.
I'm asking for help to help manage this financial shortfall my cancer care, rent and transport expenses during this huge employment loss. Please me help fight through this crisis and keep witching forward. I'd be grateful for anything you could do since this will be an ongoing fight.
I'm not giving up. I want a future with you all and you're helping it happen. . As every client I have had enriches my understanding and teaches me, any donation will be used to help keep me alive, thriving and ready to keep paying it forward.
Very Recent Past: The Tower
Breast cancer has been devastating news; I have been building my business after recovering from years of crippling fibromyalgia and the mental and physical effects of child abuse. After all this hard work, being away from my practice is heartbreaking. and the work situation with COVID-19 is extra hard.I'm scared, but keeping strong. I know you are all here and I am grateful.

I'm keeping my practice going with Instagram broadcasts, regular Tarot posts, Tarot Tuesday divinations and discussions, monthly Tarotscopes and more. I am setting up a schedule for online readings once I check with my doctor. Your funding is not only helping me fight cancer, it's helping me build a future.
Past: The Magician
I officially began my Tarot career in 2018 after winning a LipSync for Your Life at Vancouver’s Friends for Life drag bingo (They help people with life threatening illnesses all over Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. ( I'm not just a supporter, I'm now a member.) .Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to bring my craft to amazing places like the Mary Jane Brunch, Hervana, Black Rook Bakehouse, Products by SeC and Zenden. Since I arrived in Vancouver in 2017, I have supported local Vancouver charities like Vancouver Friends For Life and East Van’s pet rescue Neuterhead with donations of time and services, have run personal reading series with some proceeds going to benefit Vancouver’s sex-worker aid centre WISH, and internationally have donated prizes to NYC’s Mystical Menagerie market to benefit the Third Wave Fund as well as the immigration support charity RAICES. I have donated to community events such as the Main Street Mixed Bag , the All Tomorrow’s Parties market and the Eastside Flea. As a witch, it's part of my job to give back to the community and I try my best to live it.
Future: The World
Your donations help me move forward to a cancer free, successful future. In addition to Tarot consulting, I am a writer and a media specialist who brings hope, empathy and warmth to her media. I am grateful for anything you can share and I am beyond grateful for all your support. I met Jessie through community fundraisers at Vancouver Friends for Life where she donates Tarot readings for charity. She has recently undertaken a profound journey of healing as she now battles Stage 2 Breast Cancer.
Together, we can help Jessie Macpherson, a wonderful star, in her fight against stage 2 breast cancer.
She will be undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment for 8-12 months, so about a year including treatment and recovery. Jessie needs help covering important costs such as travel to medical appointments, the cost of all associated treatment medications as well as the cost of proper food and nutrition to keep her body/mind balance strong.
Jessie is also a prolific author and social justice advocate who supports the LGBTQ2S, cannabis and fandom communities with her generous contributions and unconditional love. Her goal is to focus on her Tarot coaching, teaching and writing business as she can while she is in treatment and to be able to support it when she returns to full health. Jessie offers her endless gratitude to all those who have supported her thus far in her cancer journey as well as all future supporters who will make this journey an absolute success!
