Jessica and I met just a month ago, but in that short time, I’ve seen her strength and kindness shine through despite the hardships she’s faced. Recently, her life was turned upside down when raw sewage flooded her apartment, destroying nearly everything she owns. As someone living with a brain injury, and recent death of daughter and spouse this has made daily life even more challenging for her. Her beloved service dog, Pablo, is also sick, adding to the stress.
