Hi, my name is Stephanie, and I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my dear friend, Jessica. She was recently incarcerated simply for being homeless while living in a tent with her three children—Hunter (5), Mason (1), and Savanna (7). The state of Florida took custody of Hunter and Mason, placing them in foster care, while Savanna was fortunately placed with a family member.

Hunter has Autism and needs extra care, and Mason is just starting to walk. I am in the process of trying to gain emergency custody of the boys so they can have a safe, loving home with me instead of being in the system. As a mother of four daughters, I know how much stability children need, and I want to do everything I can to help. However, I have nothing for them right now—no clothes, no toys, no essentials—just my heart and my determination to keep them safe until Jessica can reunite with them.

Jessica is a kind and hardworking mother who was simply overwhelmed by tough circumstances. Her bond is set at $15,000, and while she fights to get back on her feet, I want to ensure she has commissary funds for warm meals and essentials.
