Hello everyone! I’ve known Jessica for over ten years now & anyone who knows Jessica knows how much she loves her sweet dog Priscilla.

Priscilla came into Jessica’s life in October of 2014 when she was just three months old.

This past week, Priscilla presented issues

with balance & lost the ability to use her back legs. Priscilla now has intermittent loss of mobility. After an emergency vet visit, Jessica learned that Priscilla has Meningiomas. She has one of these tumors the size of a grape on her cerebellum.

Treatment options for Meningiomas includes:

• Radiation, chemotherapy, or stereotactic radiosurgery: These are often recommended.

• Surgery: Surgery alone or combined with other therapies, such as radiotherapy or hydroxyurea, is an option.

• Autologous Tumor Lysate Immunotherapy: This therapy involves making a vaccine from the tumor tissue to train the immune system to attack leftover tumor cells.

• Prednisone: This can relieve swelling in the brain tissue and shrink the tumor.

• Anti-seizure medication: This can control seizures.

Jessica has a major medical insurance plan however it’s not been able to cover a majority of the visits Jessica has had to take Priscilla let alone future care or treatment.
