Robert & Jessee we born with Mild / Moderate Hearing Loss, which in turn has affected their ability to communicate verbally. Robert has begun Kindergarten, his 1st school experience, and is struggling to keep up with the curriculumn and express his needs.
My sons school has initiated the IEP process, and will be providing hearing aids to use at school only and cannot take them home, again not allowing for consistency of learning!
Our PAID medical insurance has denied providing hearing aids for my children. MEDICAL has also failed to sponsor their medical need. Everyday that my kids are without hearing aids is another day they are missing something to learn, express, and feel.
