Help Jesse Owens Heal from Severe Injuries

Our son, Jesse Owens, was involved in a horrific accident on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. He was walking home from work in Clemson, SC around 10:30pm. He was crossing the road in the designated crosswalk, when a car struck him traveling 35 mph. The driver was distracted by her cell phone and didn't see him. He was thrown into the air and landed with full force on his right shoulder. The impact on his shoulder was so hard that it completely separated the bone from the socket. The socket is ruptured and the bone is splintered, broken, and smashed into an unknown amount of pieces. He will require invasive surgery to repair the shoulder and socket. A shoulder speciality surgeon has been called in to consult and perform the surgery. Jesse also has a ton of road rash and small burns and abrasions from the accident. Jesse will be out of work for an extended amount of time. We are raising money to help him during this time of medical emergency and while he recuperates.
