Sierra was born on June 13. He is the adored second son of Lani and David and baby brother of two year old Luis.
Jesse
was barely 10 weeks old when Lani had a gut feeling something wasn’t right. Despite being given the all clear by four doctors, she persisted. On Wednesday, September 5 the little guy was admitted to the emergency room at Randwick Children's Hospital. This was quickly
followed by the intensive care unit where he was given a blood transfusion. Following a ct scan and biopsy, it was confirmed Jesse has a large tumour in his liver which has spread to his lungs.
In
the meantime, Lani and David need to be by Jesse’s side. It is impossible to not feel useless in a situation such as this. We all want to do something. We have set up this GoFundMe as our way of showing that we are here as a community to support this young
family going through something no parent should go through. Anything to help alleviate their financial burden so as they can focus all energy on their little boy is something.

GoFundMe has been set up as a centralised point to accept donations. All contributions will go directly to the Sierra family.
