Help Jesse bring her Dad home.

Jesse was very reluctant to ask for help. I feel sure that like me, many people who love her and her family, would like some way to support them through this difficult time. This is a message from their family:
The friends of the Donnelly family are asking for any support to help the family while they navigate the expensive political system and make their way to Costa Rica to process his remains and belongings while also facilitating a celebration of life before transferring his remains back to the United States.
On Sunday December 27, 2020 Dayton Ledger Donnelly passed away suddenly in his home in Costa Rica at the age of 82.
Dayton was born April 30, 1938 in Albany New York.
At a young age he joined the Navy. While in service he was part of the hurricane hunters, which steeled his love for the weather and weather forecasting.
Dayton worked for Niagara Mohawk as a heavy equipment operator and an explosives expert for 35+ years. He married Lynn (Murray) having a loving marriage of 25 years and maintaining a close friendship for the remaining 24 years. Together they raised three children and six grandchildren.
His love of fishing would take him to Martha’s Vineyard, where he made many lifelong friendships, and eventually to Costa Rica. There he fell in love with the people and the culture finding a home away from home.
Those that knew Dayton have many colorful stories and loving memories, he lived life to the fullest and on his own terms right up until the end. He will be missed by all.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
