<div>Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For those of you that don’t know me my name is Jess. Im a 37 year old wife and mom of 2 amazing kiddos, Zowie and Brandon. As many of you know, we have been in survival mode for the last three years. On November 11, 2022, I was involved in a horrific car accident with our daughter. Since that day, our life has been transformed by unimaginable challenges.

<div>Over these years, I have undergone 8 surgeries due to complications from the accident in hopes to save my leg and foot. At the beginning of 2026, I will undergo my 9th and final surgery, which will be the amputation of my right leg just below the knee. These surgeries have been extremely painful and traumatic. I have lost half of my abdominal muscles,nerves and arteries. As well as a portion of bone from my hip, and have undergone both skin and bone grafting. That doesn’t include a terrible bone infection that caused me to be septic and be on PICC line antibiotics for 5 months to combat it. I have spent weeks at a time away from my family. Holidays were spent in a hospital room alone. All of this in hopes I would be able to save my leg. Daily life is filled with excruciating pain, random swelling, muscle spasms, and sleepless nights. It was just brought to our attention that I may be responsible to pay a percentage of this surgery before I can even be scheduled. Unfortunately I exhausted all of the no fault benefit while in the hospital the very first stay. The financial strain and bills on our family are piling up by the day with only my husband being able to work. Freedom is so close I can almost taste it. Wondering if I’ll be able to come up with money to get this final surgery has been weighing on me hard. The resulting anxiety and depression have made it difficult to be fully present for both my children and my husband. Despite these challenges, I strive every day to be the best mom I can be for my two children.

<div>We are incredibly grateful for our supportive family, though the situation has taken a significant financial toll on them as well. This situation has placed a significant financial strain on not just us but our extended family. I’m reaching out for help to cover the costs associated with ongoing medical care, travel expenses, and the financial strain that comes with both of us being unable to work. Additionally, my recovery will require extensive rehabilitation to help me regain the ability to walk and reclaim the portion of my life that I miss so dearly. I want so badly to be able to chase my kids around and participate in all the things I have missed out on these past 3 years.

<div>Your support will help us focus on healing and reclaiming our lives.

<div>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity.

<div>With heartfelt gratitude,
