Help Jenny through a stressful situation

Hello,

As many of you may know, my very good friend Jenny has been dealing with complications of diverticular disease. In 2019 she was hospitalized for 6 days, and since then the attacks have become more and more frequent, causing a lot of discomfort and anxiety. Jenny has been on antibiotics 6 times since the fall of 2021, which has lead to a referral for bowel resection surgery.

According to the surgeon, emergency is highly likely at some point down the road. The surgeon recommended doing elective surgery. Outcomes are much better for elective surgery and afterwards the issue should be fully resolved.

That being said, Jenny’s surgery is scheduled for July 12th. She will be out of work for 4 weeks. This date is much sooner than she anticipated, giving her very little time to prepare and save.

Jenny is a self-employed, mother and wife of type 1 diabetics. Salon expenses and insulin still must be covered while she is out of work recovering.

I want to help Jenny cover these costs, so I am sponsoring a GoFundMe account in her name. I am hoping to raise $4000 to help cover a portion of her income for the 4 weeks she needs to recover.
