Hello Everyone, my name is Leanne Buchanan I am raising money for my sister, Jennifer Buchanan.

On January 4, 2025 my sister (Jennifer) and her boyfriend (Brayden) were on their way home with their two dogs two hours north from visiting family; when a man fell asleep, crossed the median and hit them head on while on the interstate.

Jennifer sustained a broken foot and was bruised up extremely bad.

Brayden broke 6 ribs and broke his foot badly (worse than Jenn’s). Brayden has had 3 surgeries so far. One to clean his foot wound & remove debris, one into his chest cavity to remove one of his ribs that was vertical and the last to place two plates & bracing in his foot.

Luckily their dogs were okay. One has visited a vet a couple of times for discomfort & soreness.

The wreck totaled Brayden’s car and left them without a vehicle due to Jenn’s being broken down the past few months.

Jennifer’s phone was damaged in the wreck as well.

With their surgeons & hospitals being up north they have been unable to return home this whole time.

They are both still out of work due to broken bones and surgeries. The bills are still coming in for their home, food costs, travel, etc.

Money has become extremely tight.

All the money raised from this GoFund Me will be used to help them with bills, car repairs and other expenses that they need help with.
