On Monday afternoon, we had to take our baby Chicken to the ER. We found out she had a uterus infection and that her uterus needed to be removed immediately. She underwent emergency surgery Monday evening and has been the bravest little Chicken. She never fought the vets or struggled, she even started purring while getting her blood drawn. Anyone who knows us, knows how special these cats are to us. After traumatically losing our cat Klaus in 2023 to an unexpected cancer diagnosis, this has been extremely hard to experience again. We are so incredibly blessed to have caught this so soon but $7000 is hard to come up with unexpectedly.
