We are creating this fund in hopes to reach our dream of becoming Fathers.
As most of you know, Scott and myself began our friendship in 2006, which flourished into a relationship a few years later. On Thanksgiving 2012, we got engaged and then had our dream wedding at The Queen Theatre in 2014. That day in August will forever hold a special place in our hearts! Vowing our future together as one, but also standing on the exact stage that my Grandmother performed on as a young girl. In our hearts, we know our fairytale does not end there!
Our journey to expand our family began over 3 years ago. The process of building a family for a same-sex couple has many different avenues. We have decided on adoption and are extremely close to the end of the process!
Being so close to the reality of Fatherhood is beyond exciting! Unfortunately, adoption is very expensive. At times averaging close to $35,000, plus legal fees between $3,000-$5,000. We would love any support you could give. Whether it be donating here or giving us other ideas and fundraising tips. It would be very helpful and appreciated!
