Hello! COVID-19 has led to immense financial instability in my life.  

I am a first year kindergarten teacher and am going to get a masters in Early Childhood Education to strengthen my tool belt and really be present for my students.

My path towards becoming an educator has not been traditional, however, my drive to be a fully equipped educator only grows stronger as I teach during this time of two epidemics: COVID-19 and systemic racism. My students face the impacts of both of these epidemics; impacts that have been exacerbated due to the intertwining nature of the two. I want to be a stronger educator in the fight for equity and justice for my students.
