Help Jayne Cobb keep fighting FIP

Donation protected

My name is Rachael and I am the owner of Jayne Cobb and April Bandito. At the end of December 2020, I started to noticed that Jayne Cobb was eating less and less so I took him to the vet. After visiting 3 different specialists, he was finally diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis).

FIP is aggressive and painful for the cat, and if you can't afford treatments, Jayne Cobb would die. The drug needed to cure FIP is not approved because it's being tested as a treatment for human Ebola and Covid viruses, and humans take priority over pets. This means treatments can be very expensive and hard to come by.

The very first week of shots, I noticed a great change in Jayne Cobb. He started to eat again. A couple of weeks later, he started to be able to use his hind legs again and his eye started to clear up. He has now back to his original weight and is able to jump using his hind legs. He still cannot control his bladder just yet, but hoping we can still fix that. We only have 25 more days left of treatment.

I have maxed out every way I could afford these treatments. Most recently I found out the drug I was using is no longer available and I need to purchase a higher priced drug.

He’s so close to being done with these treatments, but I have run out of options. I hate asking for money, but he’s all I have.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
