**Support Jayda Egeonu After Tragic Loss of her Father, Dallas CVS Security Guard**
On January 24, 2025, Anthony Egeonu, a CVS security guard was killed by a 13 year old, along with a 15 year old juvenile who was shoplifting in Downtown Dallas. This tragedy turned Jayda's world upside down with the sudden and heartbreaking loss of her father, Anthony. What then should have been an ordinary day quickly turned into a nightmare, leaving her emotionally shattered. The trauma she's endured is unimaginable. The emotional scars run deep. She's scared, overwhelmed, and struggling to make sense of why something so senseless could happen to her father. Anthony meant the world to Jayda and she meant the world to him, his first born. Every day has become a challenge as she grapples with fear, confusion, and a deep sense of loss. The vibrant, confident person she once was is now trying to rebuild herself piece by piece. Her father's untimely departure has left a profound hole in Jayda's life, but through it all, he wanted her to be successful and pursue her dreams of being a nurse. They constantly spoke about her future and how proud he was of her and her accomplishments. She was going to be his "special" nurse, caring for him as he grew older, but now he will never have the chance to see her fullfill that dream. Jayda shares her thoughts, "I've always dreamed of being there for my daddy and taking caring of him. Now, it hurts so much knowing he'll never get to see me do that. He was always my biggest supporter, and he believed in me so much. I was ready to be there for him, just like he was there for me. I love my dad and I miss him so much."
