Sisters Battling Ecoli

On October 8th 2019 Jaycee Claire was having severe stomach pain and continuously vomiting. She was brought to the emergency room where they ran test that confirmed she has Ecoli. 3 days into her hospital stay Jaycee developed HUS which is when a rare toxin is released and attacks the kidneys. she then lost all kidney function. After 2 surgery's and 2 weeks of dialysis Jaycee is slowly recovering. However on October 28th 2019 Jaycees sister London age 11 started having the same symptoms. She was brought to the emergency room and was confirmed she has Ecoli too. London is very sick and in alot of pain. London just developed HUS like Jaycee has. They are both still in Cincinnati Children's hospital on different floors. This month has been very hard for this family financially due to them missing work to trying comfort their girls.
