My name is Jay and my fiancé is Kyle. I was recently in a severe car crash that nearly killed me and left me with compression fractures on multiple vertebrae with presently unknown additional injuries pending more medical evaluations and care.

After the crash, we were verbally assaulted with threats against ourselves and our cats with the intent of forcing us from our home. This place was severely detrimental to our mental and physical wellbeing, but regardless, was our home.

We are now between homes and trying to get back on our feet with our 9 cats. Jay has a yet unknown amount of time before they can return to work. Kyle is legally disabled and is unable to work for the time being.

Any money given will be put towards recovering my transportation from our previous home that we were forced to leave behind due to expense and ensuring its safety and road worthiness, cat care expenses, medical expenses, food, gas, and finding a safe place for us and our cats, as well as the unexpected that comes along the way.

Update: We are still homeless and living in campgrounds. We are working hard to save up to buy an empty lot somewhere! Donations have helped us fix my van and buy some gear so we’ve been able to survive outside. Thank you everyone who has donated!
